So we got to Chiang Mai OK and the journey was not as bad as expected!!
Wondered the streets and went for the nearest place. It was OK… For 1 night until we found a better place when not so tired. It was called the Na Inn.
Love Chiang mai…a perfect release from the chaos of Bangkok! Cant help jumping back when anyone approaches us thinking they are trying to sell something!
We experienced our first thunder storm too… Oh my the rain was heavy but soon dried up!
We used the day to book some trips!First off we booked a Thai dance and dinner night! 600 baht each (c.£12) for all you can eat Thai food and a full show.
The dinner was served on a platter and we had cushions to sit on the floor to eat. Nkosi only lasted 5 mins crossed legs… He needs to work on his flexibility!
The dancing was good although it did drag on a bit! It seems the dance is focused around hand moments and very slow saw some interesting costumes too..including one girl dressed as what I figured to be a chicken!
Here are some of the highlights!
After that we ended up crashing and burning ready for Thai cooking in the morning!
