Stayed here twice, before and after trekking. Unusual for us to stay the same place twice but really liked it, especially the atmosphere! Top headliner;
– Friendly and full of information. The owner and wife are both lovely and really helpful especially with trekking information. The young boys who serve the breakfast and help with the washing also really nice.
– so many travellers. A place to easily meet people and get information about trekking from. Cool common area and beers are the best price I have seen in Nepal!
We stayed in a private deluxe room after our trek we felt we deserved the cheeky upgrade. Showers are hot in the afternoon to evening, not so hot in morning but that’s because of solar panels. Powerful shower though. Beds super comfortable. Would probably say the only thing we would have expected was AC as rooms very hot. WiFi didn’t work in room but good in common area, plus it’s good to talk! WiFi in general in Nepal is not great so just glad to have some that worked. Lovely roof terrace with nice views. The breakfast each morning was nice and varied from pancakes to porriage!
Thanks for having us, we highly recommend staying here, by far the busiest and most sociable stay in Nepal! (Even in low season)
Blonde in the big world!
